Added 2024-03-07 20:55:28 +0000 UTCI'm going to move on and I'm not going to waste time with people anymore. I am just going to make mods/plugins I can make. Then you can decide whatever you want.
First I'm going to make TAA for games need TAA using new library I'm working on. So I can add TAA for any new game in short time.
And list of games I'm going to work on TAA currently:
- ETS2/ATS (already released)
- Assetto Corsa (ready but has some problems with other mods, working on compatibility with other mods)
Planned:
- iRacing (depends on anticheat)
- BeamNG
- Elite Dangerous
- GTA V (not 100% but high chance)
If you think a game needs TAA and there are enough players playing the game, you can leave a comment to request for that game.
Also there are some games with TAA but TAA is not well implemented so it looks blurry etc. I might also work on them to improve TAA. Like RDR2.
Next after creating a base to implement TAA for different games using same library, I am going to start adding new features (weather, lighting, post process effects, environment etc) to this library so they will be accessible for different games with minimal changes. That will make everything easier to improve games.
While working on a new game, I might see some wasted performance, if it doesn't require big changes to fix, I will also fix these performance problems.

Thx! just one question: Is there any possibility to make it work with the opencomposite mod to play it in openXR instead of SteamVR? If I have the openvr.api from the opencomposite mod running, i get an „draw fail“ message. Thus i am am forced to play it in SteamVR which takes a huge hit on performance. It would be a treat to use openXR and OpenXRToolkit along with your mod! That would be perfection! Thanks anyway for your time and effort! 👍

2024-03-24 08:42:03 +0000 UTCYes, it cannot solve because its rendered badly, so anti aliasing cannot solve it because its just a line and half of the pixels are not rendered. They need to make sure at least one pixel rendered per axis on the line then TAA is going to work fine. So only higher resolution can help to solve it without some tricks inside wires/cables shader

2024-03-19 08:28:51 +0000 UTCDLSS and TAA on BeamNG is a dream. The anti-aliasing in this game is very bad. When working on this, try to make the mod compatible with the Vulkan API, as the game runs much better with it compared to DX11.
