Roadmap for ETS2/ATS Lighting Improvements

Fixing crash issues
Fixing invisible/incorrect objects/lights
Adding custom improved rain/snow (I will focus on improving overcast weather)
Adding seasons without changing assets (it will be hard to do without changing assets but I will try)
Adding dynamic weather/sky instead of using settings
I will try to add night lighting (streetlights, headlights etc requires a lot of change for new lighting)
I will try to add sunlighting without making it look bad (game doesn't use PBR textures so its hard to keep details with sunlight)
I will try to change vegetation assets and road textures (this is not hard but its boring and long process)

2025-06-14 22:33:08 +0000 UTCI deleted the config file but it didn’t fix it. I reinstalled the mod, still didn’t work. I’m not using DLSS, and my game version is 1.54.

I can't even remember the last time I had such a wow effect when I started this game... I think it was when I first started PNG. Second... The plans for the development of the mod are absolutely stunning. It seems extraordinary that one person can change the face of this game so much. Personally, I am a big fan of the option where there is no swapping of assets, thanks to which there is a chance to maintain compatibility of your plugin with as many mods as possible, including map ones. Unless you are planning a solution that will allow your modification to cooperate with others. Regardless, I will be watching the development of the work with bated breath, because it is already very impressive. For this reason, I hope that you will gain as many subscriptions as possible, which will allow you to work peacefully in the future.

2025-03-25 08:16:04 +0000 UTCI had to stop playing to leave another review. I started a new profile with the original Europe map in ETS 2. And, my god, it's amazing. Every 1km I have to stop to take a screenshot because everything is a beautiful postcard. It's damn ETS 3. One of the things that struck me the most was the vegetation. I've never seen it so realistic in a game (and the SCS vegetation is horrible), but with your mod it's crazy realistic (I say this because I saw your roadmap and you had vegetation in mind; for me it's unnecessary). The steering wheels in the interiors seem like you can touch them. I don't have any bugs in the original map. All the lights, traffic lights, etc. work perfectly. My only problem is that I'm falling behind on my real work and I don't bathe.. Anyway, congratulations again and thank you very much. Now I have to leave them, I'm going to play again.

EDIT = I fixed it by removing a mod called reflective road markings which i remembered and thought can be a problem and removed config file and it is fixed

Other than some buggs with colors or indicator not showing, it looks amazing from 3rd person!!! can't wait for more
