Update on save features
Added 2023-09-22 16:47:30 +0000 UTCI have just finished work on (and tests) two new major features that will appear in the next release of the game.
Firstly there is now going to be 3 save spaces. You asked for it.. you got it.. You can now load and save to 3 seperate saves, so you can experiment down different paths etc.
Secondly you can now load old games saves.. The Engine will now recognise an old save.. create a new save instance, merge all the data from the old one, and save the new save over the old one..
So progress made in all current versions can be transferred forward into your next play in a new version.
This has taken up pretty much most of the time this week I have had to work on the game. I have also been able to make some spelling / grammer correction that have been kindly pointed out to me..
I have also been able to story board a new quest, which I will write into the game over the weekend. I also have already got plans laid out for next steps on a few of the current quests, and an idea for another new quest also. While I want to put in extra steps for current quests, I am also keen to build as many new (short) starter quests.

its annoying but needed. peoples saves for next update are probably going to be shit thou but its a major tech update so thats expected
