The Boys from Brazil (1978) *Reaction*
Added 2024-02-26 15:04:26 +0000 UTCDr. Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) clones Hitler 95 times, and hopes to raise the resulting boys in Brazil, giving them childhoods identical to Hitler's. His ultimate plan is to create a band of Nazi leaders that can continue where Hitler left off, forming the Fourth Reich. Ezra Lieberman (Laurence Olivier), a Nazi hunter, learns of the plan and is determined to thwart it. When the two meet face-to-face in the home of one of the Hitler clones, it is up to the boy to choose who he will assist.

Yay!!! Another four star film!!! Thanks again David for another awesome reaction! Gregory Peck has always played the good guy in all his films except this one!!! LOL!!! Laurence Olivier was also great in this film! He got a Best Actor Oscar nomination for this! An interesting fact: the real Dr. Josef Mengele died the following year in 1979 in South America! He had a heart attack while swimming and drowned! He was not torn apart by dogs! LOL! Oh the young guy who was investigating in the beginning is Steve Guttenberg who was in the Police Academy films! The young widow who was showing her legs to Lieberman is Rosemary Harris who played Aunt May in the Tobey Maguire Spiderman films! The old man who gets killed in London played Alfred in some of the Batman films! Well, I'm really glad you enjoyed this movie my friend! There will be more heading your way! π
