If you take away the opening first act of the original and how well it was done, the sequel is slightly superior in my opinion. Of course, I haven't seen either in many years, so I could be remembering wrong.

2024-10-01 21:18:09 +0000 UTCTotally agree Jason! That first act with Carol Kane was nightmare fuel for me as a kid. It was hands down the scariest movie I watched as a kid. People always bring up The Exorcist, and for good reason, but for me, it was the first act of When a Stranger Calls.
