They include EARTHQUAKE (1974), THE TOWERING INFERNO (1974), THE SWARM (1978) and WHEN TIME RAN OUT... (1980). I heard he might be reacting to THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE (1972) by the end of this year and continue with the other three AIRPORT films next year. π THE MANITOU (1978) is a horror film that stars Tony Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis' dad. Tony Curtis starred in THE MANITOU in the same year his daughter starred in HALLOWEEN. I hope you will enjoy THE MANITOU too! It's an underrated cult classic! π

The Manitou was director William Girdler's last film before he died in a tragic helicopter crash in the Philippines while scouting for new locations for his next film.
