Very respectfully, Kevin and Angel haven’t been in the dating pool for a very long time and haven’t seen what the streets are giving. Tyler’s same ole tired advice ignores 1) many men even with an accepting woman don’t want to make less than their mate they don’t want to be in the situation 2) we gotta stop assuming broke men aren’t also assholes! They not humble and kind just because they poor. There’s always this weird assumption that being poor can’t be correlated with not being a good guy.

However “ just pay the light bill” ain’t realistic either . A partner needs to comes through . And only black woman are told to make it work . And that ain’t right . If you want a man to provide sis get a provider . Because last I checked can’t pay the bills with good intentions . And you can’t build a relationship with no character- get you a man that can do both . And men need to stop giving advice to women . Seriously .
