2021 Patron Message

I've been trying to think of some kinda grandiose, heartfelt speech to do for you guys, but nothing seems to come out right, so I'll keep it simple.

I... really didn't think I was gonna be able to afford art for a few years, if ever. I was kinda expecting to crash and burn to be honest, given that the game was at best a clunky, worse-written version of CoC or MGD lol. My goal was just to tell the story floating around in my head and hope some people liked it.

So the idea that so many of you were willing to put your trust in me, and a far-from-perfect game, means more than I can really express. It is solely due to you guys that we have any art at all, that each of the girls got finalized into proper original designs. And while it's a little less sexy, you guys are also why we have monster art, and maybe someday fewer stock backgrounds/music/etc lol.

I've been trying to make a point of returning as much as possible from Patreon earnings to the game - which mostly translates to 'almost all of it goes into art' at this point. I know I'm far from the perfect dev, I'm a little on the dumb side and definitely an amateur at all this, but I want to respect the faith you guys had in me by making the best game I possibly can without making endless excuses, milking it, or any of the other stereotypical dev bullshit.

So uh, yeah. Just know that if you have any feedback or issues, with the game or the Patreon thing, I'm down to listen. I'm dumber than a sack of puppies, not malicious. Here's to another year of fun stuff and art previews, and maaaybe some more fun stuff down the road I'm not quite ready to talk about yet. I'm trying to make the game less ugly, I promise LOL.
