When it comes to Freedom Planet AU's and What-Ifs, this one might perhaps be the most infamous of them all: What if Lilac never left the Red Scarves? Also, why does she use her last name instead of the first one like everyone else?
Dunno, could be preference. Or perhaps something happened. I wouldn't really think, however, that the Lilac we know today is the same as the one she was back in the Scarves. After all, how does one survive the events of the first game so unscathed and perfectly fine? It's a mystery.
Regardless of her staying in the AU or not, this take is based on any time she was with the Red Scarves, with a particularly noted relationship of any sort with Spade. Maybe if they really dated, wouldn't it be also fitting she'd be called after a card by him too~?
