May 11: Mini-Update Collections (What's Comin' n Whatnot)

I really should bring these more in action, I dislike being silent for a long while. I decided to make this into a Illustration post; it's easier to check out each image this way for mobile.

The last few days were a pretty experimental set of days (as it has been unexpectedly for the last month). A lot of the stuff isn't really visible all the time. But as you can see with Rotty on the 1st and Carol on the 3rd pics, sometime its very obvious.

Update #1: Rottytops

This take is a little outdated at this point, but a few of the things done here will carry over. I decided these version of her eyes are going to stay for this version. I am not sure if I can say the same for the soft-shading, but if the retry happens and it looks decent enough I will try to get the same look again.

Update #2: Catgirl?

DE (Yuna's Story) will now mix normal anthros with humans that have animal features (gijinkas). The Terrans from the story are basically humans with various degrees of "furry" to them to begin with and I felt this approach suited that idea better. They will be relatively uncommon compared to the actual anthros in question though (Uncommon: 1/5 other full animal).

This catgirl will be a design for a full character, though it's safe to say she's still being worked on. Considering how the VTuber scene has a lot of designs that would translate well for this idea, the coincidences to at least four streamers is not a coincidence.

Update #2: Carol Tea + Potential New Color Style

I barely give Carol love, and that's not really a secret. She also happened to be caught in the middle of a new style for coloring I've been meaning to experiment on, based on how I used to color before. I may use a variation of this for later.

The colors for this Carol are not final, safe to say. But I will say you can use this (and the other pics) as confirmation that, yes, they are all coming, along with some other characters I plan to talk about later (some already done and revisited, some new, and some that come from scrapped posts months ago)

Needless to say, these are not even half of the works I have done so far. A lot of the others not shown here are, in my opinion, not as interesting and/or repetitive, outdated stuff regarding my style and ideas (and the art rut that happened right in the middle of it).

I plan to continue updates from this point onwards as usual again as I close the experiment phase and begin to work as usual now. See you next update!
