The alternate color scheme is actually also canon. She has the ability to perform subtle (and not so subtle) transformations. Being a brown panda and wanting to really blend in, she started her journey by being able to simply shift her fur color at will for a limited time.
As for full transformations, well...Makes you wonder if those other NSFWs were really the actual character or just her π€
