Appologies for the lack of updates
Added 2021-06-13 04:36:11 +0000 UTCI really hate typing up these sorts of posts, but at the same time I also hate leaving people in the dark.
Long story short, I've been dealing with some unexpected life stuff recently. My current living situation is a bit tenuous when it comes to my artwork; others around me do not know what I do and unfortunately it needs to stay that way. My schedule is such that I'm generally able to avoid any potential issues, so I usually just land up partitioning my time carefully so that I'm not working on anything too revealing if there's a chance I might be seen (I can pass off character rigs and scenery stuff as "just 3D work", but it's slightly more difficult to explain things when you've got characters on-screen with boobs the size of beach balls).
This has worked reasonably well enough up until recently. Earlier last month, something happened that essentially threatened to blast my life wide open and link my IRL identity to my online alter-ego. I'm not going to lie- this has basically decimated my motivation to work on most things, so I haven't been doing much recently (and I do feel bad about that, because I wish I didn't feel the way that I currently do and that I could convince myself to get back to work on stuff). I think there's been some prgress into finding out what exactly happened and why I'm in the position I'm in, but I can't say for sure since nobody has actually confirmed anything concrete yet.
Anyways...
I'm terribly sorry about the lack of updates. I was hoping to at least have some base meshes done by now so that I could move on to building out some actual character designs, but... well, yeah. I have been working on a few odds and ends in the meantime, but nothing really significant enough to show. I'm hoping things will start to turn around once I get confirmation that nothing else is going to happen, but I have no idea when that might occur. I will try to post updates here as I find out more or if anything else changes.
