George Gibson | Frankie & Albert

(f#DEAD)

Well Frankie had a bad man this everybody knows

Lord she spent one hundred dollars to buy him a suit of clothes

He was her man but he done her wrong

Yes Frankie had a bad man Albert was his name

Lord she spent one hundred dollars to buy him a coat and hat

He was her man but he done her wrong

Frankie went down to the bar room

Didn't go there for fun(?)

She said to the bartender, "Has my loving Albert been here?

"He is my man but he throwed me down."

"Ain't gonna tell you no stories Lord I ain't gonna tell you no lie

He was here just an hour ago making love to Nelly Bly

If he's you're man Lord he done you wrong."

Frankie went down to the bar room(?) didn't go there for fun

For under her komono she toted a forty-four gun

Said, "He is my man but he's doing me wrong."

When Frankie saw old Albert, Lord he broke into a run

Frankie shot him down with that forty-four gun

Well it's, "Roll me over easy roll me over so"

It's, "Roll me on my right side cause by wounded side hurts me so

I am her man but I done her wrong."

Yes it's get out your rubber tired buggies bring out your rubber tired hacks

We're taking Albert to the grave yard ain't gonna bring him back

He was her man but he done her wrong.

Really loving the timing of the foot stomping on this one. Adds so much to the song.

Yes, he's doing a lot of "double noting" with the left hand. I will have to knock some rust off and try to teach yall this one next. We can do another tight left hand shot if you want it no problem.

Clifton, is this the double pull off technique you had mentioned a while back? If so I would love to see a left hand video of this.
