Banjo is tuned gDGBD, relative (fCFAC, actual) aka "standard" or "Cripple Creek" tuning. Lookout for a close-up of this piece and please comment below with any suggestions.

2023-10-26 09:39:15 +0000 UTCThanks, Jorge. I will sometimes transition from down-picking to up-picking while playing the "double shuffle" filler notes between verses. It's not necessary to transition to up-picking as I do, and even sometimes I don't. For an explanation of the double shuffle technique, see this video: https://youtu.be/pK5_3xGkVAk

Question for you: in the beginning of the video when you are playing, are you shifting from downstriking and up picking with your index? If so, any thoughts on how to develop that fluidity in technique? Thanks!
