Oettinger Tailpiece by Lyndon Bespoke Banjo Review

In short, nice tail piece. If you are a highly technical player and/or have some extra money to spend, this is worth looking into. As for myself, I actually prefer the $70 Kershner tailpieces.

Oettinger Tailpiece by Lyndon Bespoke Banjo Review

Don't think I've ever tried a Price tailpiece and a quick internet search didn't pull up any examples. All it showed me were Prestos Kershners.

Did you ever try a "Price" tailpiece Clifton? I understand they keep the string in a straight line from the Bridge to the tailpiece but not sure if that makes much difference for an Old timey kind of sound? I suspect when it comes down to it, the most important component of a Banjo is the person playing it ;)

I just put a Rickard Oettenger style on my BC 350+ i tune to E . What a difference from the no knot . no more buzz and plays clean up the neck . It made a huge difference with this banjo with heavier strings
