Quick note about January:

I've been hired on a small government archaeology project here in Tennessee that will be taking up a lot of my time through the month of January. I will still upload at least one or two lessons this month, but just wanted to give y'all a heads-up! I know I'm really behind on emails as well--sorry about that!

Anyhow, thanks for a great 2019 and look for me to return to our usual pace once field work wraps up at the end of January.

Sincerely,

Clif

I'm new here and a real novice but appreciate you're style of playing and would like to emulate it someday, although that might be a far fetched goal. Good to hear that you're into archeology, which is an interest that I also share.

Welcome, Gary. I graduated in 2013 with a BS in Anthropology (Archaeology concentration) from Appalachian State U. Have worked gov't archaeology contracts off-and-on ever since.

Looking forward to being part of your Patreon group. Very cool your doing some archeology. Would be interested to know more about it. I worked at the Koster Site and various other excavations and surveys in southern Illinois in the 1970s

We have to sign confidentiality agreements when we get hired on these gigs. I can probably get away with saying that we're working on an original section of the Trail of Tears--but not much more than that at the moment.

I was hired by a university in NC who's being contracted by the Forest Service. We expect some rain days next week, which is when I'll try to upload a lesson.
