Greta, I'm glad to hear it! Have you seen my three 2-finger "intro" videos?

I'm new to your site because of this song and the new way of playing. I love it & can't wait to get comfortable with it. I've been playing clawhammer, but this! I'm glad to have found you and thank you for sharing.

Great song! Iโ€˜ve already started learning it.

Ok I've got this one in the books. On to Cumberland Gap

Dave

looking forward to playing ... great song and instruction as always!!

I think this song is basically a thumb lead version of Reuben's Train (and all the better for it!) and although I do like Frank Proffitt's music, I prefer Clif's take. Coal Creek and Spanish Fandango are also thumb lead songs in this tuning and they're both pretty simple to learn too!

Excellent! Have had Troble On My Mind stuck in my head for a week. Loving it but really looking forward to this one. Thank you!

WOW...Clifton writing out european style notes for american style banjo! The lion shall sleep with the lamb. Also, great song.

Thanks, Clifton! Appreciate the nice arrangement of a cool old song, and adding a new "Reuben" Open-D tuning to my growing list of Old-Time tunings! So far, I'm only comfortable with 2-finger, so appreciate that you included this style in your demo! Well done!
