"Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down"

"Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down" is a traditional hymn most notably recorded by Frank Proffitt of Johnson County, Tennessee. Another great recording under the same title was made by Sister Fleeta Mitchell and Rev. Willie Mae Eberhard.

My instrument is an 1888 Thompson & Odell "The Luscomb" banjo tuned ~ d A♯ D♯ F A♯ (A = 432 Hz)

I'm not sure. Might be confusing because of the odd tuning. Try tuning you banjo to f#DGAD and see if that helps. The tab looks correct to me. Anybody else see something I've missed?

Thanks for this Clifton. I just now came home with a Frank Profit Lp. He sings this one... he claps, no banjo. Quite a treat to hear it just after your video! And thanks for the album you just put out on bandcamp! Love it.

I am struggling with this one, because the tab doesn't seem to match what you are playing. Parts of it don't sound like the same notes. The beginning is the first place it seems to be different. Am I misunderstanding something? I really would like to learn this song.
