worst kept secret
Added 2024-07-10 00:12:56 +0000 UTCbeen feeling some feelings out there in the world, and it all culminates in "what if I could really just make horny comics for money? what if I could sustain myself off of such a thing?" and to get to that point, if I ever will, I need to practice. So this was an exercise in "how quickly could I actually get a silly page down if I have even half of an idea?"
this is about two hours of work to reach this point. the black "lineart" was supposed to be a sketch but I'm honestly wondering if I could just color it after some minimal cleanup? I think I'll try, because color can really pull a thing together.
Let me know your thoughts if you'd like! I'm always looking for feedback on comics. If something is hard to read, confusing, or the dialogue doesn't lead your eye in the right order, etc etc.
edit: for my own sake why not keep these in the same post. this was between 3-4 hours of work? Probably closer to 3? and I think it's ready for color >:v

2024-07-10 00:24:05 +0000 UTCoh you know, while I do consider taking comic *commissions* (I think I'm charging okay, I would never be able to do more than a single page piece & with non commercial rights. eh), I would love to reach the point where I could fund myself through patreon for making personal comics... That's the REAL goal, with comms just to supplement!

2024-07-10 00:23:26 +0000 UTCI say go for it with quick sketch-line + color because I agree color goes a long way on its own! I think your comics I've seen ready pretty smooth and I love how natural the informal dialogue comes across--even given my own reading comprehension issues
