Here's another comm that was a few months in the making! This one is for Nathan Osworth.
I don't generally take reference commissions unless I'm very familiar with the commissioner, have worked together with them before and we have a good relationship. I have a good relationship with most, but there's only a few who meet all the parameters! The reason for this, though, is that I just. Am incapable of making a reference sheet without putting my WHOLE ass into it. Even if the sheet is just a standing shot of the character, I will be going back and forth with the client to make sure the design is perfect to what they imagine-- it just takes a lot of effort out of me, as well as a lot of time (I need frequent breaks + the workload is just More than most of my other pieces because of the standard I hold myself to). So if you've ever been interested in a ref from me, I generally recommend finding a different artist. If it MUST be me, it will be expensive and take forever 😅 In any case, when I'm able to finish a sheet for a client and they're happy, I'm very happy!
Egregious watermark because it's a character reference, such is life.
