Here is the first devlog for Feed the Dragon ! I'm still working on the next update (which should be v0.8.1). Most sprites shown here are place-holders. A few things I plan to add :
Fairy NPC in the overworld. She will give the first quest that leads to the first encounter with Malika.

I'll also have to do a lot of code rework before the update is ready in order to make the defense level more scalable (will be necessary to add new boss characters). There may be an other devlog before the release of the update - or I may directly give a link to the prototype in the next post.
There is a lot of ground work to do for this update, but once the new basic mechanics are implemented it should be easier to add more of the juicy content - including new interactive screens during the defense level or in the overworld.
Finally, here is a short design doc that gives a first rough overview of how I'd like to shape the game and its story in the future (things are subject to change - including name of characters).
