Lusamine animatic thumbnails + project update

I took a very long break from this project since the sketchbook video came out, mainly because in doing that sketchbook I learned so much about exploring my own process that I’ve really enjoyed doing! I think it’s fair to say we probably wouldn’t have the prism sketchbook rn if i hadn’t made the lusamine one.
I did consider just taking the lusamine sketchbook as its own w and moving on from making the animatic, and ultimately i’m glad i took the break! i’ve learned a lot about sketching since then, which might sound kinda silly but it’s turned out to be game changing. i feel much more excited and prepared to come back and work on the actual animatic for lusamine now, BUT it only took like 48 hours of picking up the project again to realize there’s still a lot of work that i want to do to iterate on these boards before i begin finalizing anything, so i took the time last night to put all the thumbnails i made in that sketchbook to music so i’d have better visuals to help me in my thought process.
im gonna call in the teams help this time and consider this phase 2 of lusamine animatic preproduction! i dont expect the final animatic will be finished any time soon, but i’ll keep you guys updated with our iterations of the as we work on the first draft c:

I hope you don't overexert yourself since it's very ambitious to tackle. I'm sure you can do it though since you have your team and have been KILLING IT with your other projects! :3c
