Happy Thanksgiving, Patrons!
In case you didn't know, we're tremendously thankful for you all. The unexpected road blocks and challenges of this episode would have caused so much more stress without your generous support. Speaking of this episode...
- Episode 1: It's done!!! Well, our part is anyway. The art and animation, music score and editing, credits and surprises, are all finished and undergoing foley treatment by our outstanding audio wizard. We've been getting portions back and can promise it's a thrilling final touch pulling everything together. So when is the premiere? No idea! Our partners, Maine Events, are working as tirelessly as we are, and once they have a date you will! For the public release, that is. We thought you, patient patrons, deserved an early viewing with your own pool of giveaways and fun to be had. Once we're wrapped, you and our voice talent will be invited to a private early access showing with all seven minutes of glory that is Episode 1: "Melting, Melting, Melting!" Consider it a thanks for bearing with us this long, as well as for supporting our obscure little show.
- Current Work: With the art and animation done, we're taking a long break to- HAH, no we're not! We've already started refining Episode 2 storyboards, which take the story in a whirlwind of exciting new places, as well as storming ahead on the book to get it out in time for the public premiere! We'll also be going through Episode 2-10's audio for any necessary retakes as well as doing some tests on Twitch with the assets we've put together to begin streaming progress! Finished the pilot is a satisfying milestone, but we're excited to take what we've learned to make Episode 2 more organized and faster to the finish line. Optimistically, we're hoping to finish it in 8-10 weeks, which means we're getting right back to work.
- In the Mean Time: We learned a lot going through the 700+ auditions for our wonderful and gracious cast, and plan to make a video for voice actors on what stood out to us, tips for the future, etc. in a broad, beginner sense. We're also hoping to create more content for the YouTube channel in between episodes. That and social media were the first things to go once the schedule turned into "Finish ASAP", so we're eager to steadily bring them back with more behind the scenes fun.
Thank you for everything, from the depths of our hearts. We'll have books to send soon, and look forward to a new year with 9 more episodes of dark 90's satire!
See you very soon... next time!
