Production Update! 6.9.21

Hello wonderous patrons,

We have some thrilling plans to share, and can't wait to elaborate, so here we go!

- Festival: We're traveling to the Florida Animation Festival tomorrow! Since YOU were the encouragement and support that allowed us to dive into festivals to begin with, we're sharing the experience as much as possible. An open invitation was put up on our discord server, and two patrons (you know who you are!) happened to be in the South East with spare time to fill our car seats and road trip with us. We're so excited to adventure with some of the people helping to make this happen, and look forward to composing a Vlog on our exploits similar to the one we just put up (with a bit better sound balancing if we can help it).
Just so you know how much you've helped us come this far, it's the contributions from you all that made us confident enough to invest in the festival submission fees. Your generosity also fueled the stickers and business cards we'll be handing out while we're there - both acquired at either a discount or very budget friendly means through StickerMule and Staples. They turned out just like us - cheap but high quality!
On our future-things-to-do list, we'd also love to make a video on our festival submission prep for the curious or for those who want to do the same while sparing some of the blind fumbling of the beginner's learning curve we went through.

- Episode 2: We burned through more shots last week, colored some previously finished segments, and roughed a whole slew of new shots to clean. Anticipate more progress on the horizon! Our routine feels pretty heartily locked in, and we're happy with how things are going alongside some secret fun in the works...

- Book: A downside of having growing patronage is that we continue to raise our standards for you all. While the book could have been done by now, we keep looking at its potential and finding room for improvement. Please be patient as more edits are underway and we're very eager to give you something worthy of your reward tier! The illustrations are coming along beautifully regardless, and every edit pass only makes us happier with what we're putting together. Thanks for bearing with us in the mean time!

And with that, we're ready for a grand adventure tomorrow and the impossible awe of seeing our little pilot screened in a real theater. We can't thank you enough for joining us and making such an experience possible.
