Production Update! 10.18.21

Hello enchanting patrons!

We'll dive right in to a bit of updates and also some plans for how we're tackling the future!

-Festivals: While we didn't win anything at Stareable fest, we can boast a nomination for best fantasy horror, and the panels and meetings they held allowed us to get insights from the top of Zombie Orpheus Entertainment and personalized feedback from Blumhouse TV, Tiny Reperations, and Group Nine Media (all of whome we're looking forward to staying in contact with!) 

The next two weeks carved out for travel to Ethereal and FilmQuest fests. Between the cost for admission/travel and especially the exhaustive amount of energy it can take to participate in and try to fully take advantage of a festival, we look forward to wrapping up that chapter after this month's commitments so we can return to the show full time.

-Episode 3: Has been taking a different aproach, as we mentioned last time! It feels like its going slower because we aren't finishing shots, but instead are trying to do a full rough animation pass before going on to clean up. We're still working on our routine and it will be easier once we're off the road and can really settle in to our new studio space (update on that progress soon!). We'll be able to start giving percentages again once that's tacked down. It will be refreshing to return to more solid, numerical updates!

-The Book: Our first book has also taken a speed hit from festival participation and our new endeavor is to have half our team working solely on the book while the other half works on Ep 3 so that both move forward and come to you as soon as possible. Its been a long time coming and very much a learning experience, so thank you for your patience! We'll have other treats in store to mail out once its completed, so hopefully its worth the wait!

There will hopefully be a new Lost Media episode soon in a limited animation style that's already in the works, so look forward to that in your downtime and look forward to some fun games on twitter and discord once we approach Christmas time! It's right around the corner, and we're going to be in a very giving mood! Its the least we can do when you all have been so generous with your time and resources. Awards are nice and all but giving you, our supporters, what you came here for is by far a better use of our time. So let's get back to work!
