Animation previews, Kickstarter sneak peek, and Timeline! 1.12.24

It's been a while! Unfortunately, this is because our whole team (both of us) has been pretty sick since the holidays, so work has slowed to a crawl. But we still got a LOT of planning and a bit of work done while we were under the weather. So let's get right into it!
- Future Robot Rockstar Pirates: Is going to be full swing a few months from now, but got some early love with some test animation! The attached video shows the storyboards and the near final animation for the first few seconds of the theme song. Some effects and post-production treatments are still WIP. This will be a mini-series, after ROT concludes.
- Far Harvest: Is still in the works, too! This moody short film is going to be our first priority/next in line for upload before ROT debuts as our next series. You can see a few shots of its finished animation in the attached video as well.
- The Plushie Kickstarter: Here's the big one! We've gotten a lot of assets together to try and make the plushie Kickstarter more special than just a pre-order system. We've also got photos of the Zag companion plush sample attached in the same link. A lot of work and probing and testing has gone into these offers, so we hope you enjoy!
We also have a soft launch date. While we're still waiting for the first batch order of 200 Gabbies to reach us before we'll feel confident ordering more, they are en-route so on the 20th of this month, we'll make the Kickstarter page public so people can preview it and follow to be notified when it goes live.
- ROT: Is undergoing a little bit of style changes, but has audio collected for its intro and has some exciting collaboration going into the intro's visuals!
So the immediate future's order of operations is: Far Harvest animation, Kickstarter launch, ROT series launch, Proof of concept short, Future Robot Rockstar Pirates production. It's a lot, and we're excited for every bit of it! Thank you all for enabling us to be so ambitious. We hope you enjoy what the future has in store,

We released 200 of them last year, which were scooped up so fast we decided we needed a Kickstarter to make sure everyone who wanted one could get one : 3 so that initial batch is still enroute, and after we make sure they get here ok we'll continue with the rest of them!

2024-01-12 16:25:08 +0000 UTCAll sounds good here! Though I will make a soft recommendation in regards to some of the extra goodies for the kickstarter? Lots of them that I see will allow people to make extra orders for add ons as an extra purchase with their pledge. Not sure how the ordering process is for things like the VHS case or the coloring book but that might be worth a look just in case ya have peeps like myself that already have one of the first 200 plushies on order but do like the idea of some of that other memorabilia!
