This last couple of weeks came with some unexpected family-related travel, so we weren't able to give as much warning as we hoped but please enjoy the kick-off video of ROT today! We're extremely excited to present a more interactive series that'll let us engage in similar ways to the Angel Hare letters videos.
You'll get sneak peeks of the next episode, supporter-exclusive polls, the works! We're very pleased to finally bring this concept to you. That'll be our main workload for the next bit, with one notable exception:
Whiskered: This Summer we're trying to complete a four-minute proof-of-concept music video, with the help of some new art collaborators we recruited from festivals and expos we've been able to travel to. Storyboards are going to be digitized soon and we'll be able to show those off and hopefully also show off the work of some storyboard artists who are going to help us improve on our first draft! We're extremely excited to have the support to improve our process in this way and have you to thank for it. We've also talked to background artists and other contributors that are all passionate about the project and who will be able to elevate it with their own unique visions. It'll be fun showing you all more of that as ROT releases.
Other: We're doing animation work for a documentary! We were approached to make a few small animated scenes for an educational doc and we'll be able to talk more about that as it unfolds. It's a small thing, but it's exciting and it's being made by good people who support independent art.
That's about it! We're finally and the stage of production where our noses are to the grindstone, and we're thrilled to be able to share it with you all. See you soon!

2024-03-29 19:33:44 +0000 UTCI don’t know whether to post about ROT here or in the video, but ultimately I have to give my good cheer and well wishes to the potential projects of Whiskers and these animated parts for a documentary your cooking in the kitchen, because the smell and excitement is absolutely exquisite. ROT, seriously, both of y’all’s specialties must be in build up, because this teaser is absolutely a magnificent payoff and more. Dreariness and tension, it’s something that permeates across the gorgeous mesmerizing animation, from the holographic monitor containing the intriguing information of what we are getting ourselves into, to the bleak and intricate layout of the room, seriously hats off to 3D animator, because combining both of y’all’s prowesses together gave rise to this uncanny dystopian world, all in a single room. I’m looking forward to this ambitious project and experiment of yours, for their is certainly going to be law and chaos in determining these characters fates, and that storyboard really goes to show the effort everyone takes to bring an idea to life in spectacular fashion. Thank you for all you’ve given us, and I’m looking forward to what y’all are bringing to the world! Take care!
