The Patch in 2025

Hello new year patrons!

It's been thrilling seeing folks share their Angel Hare Christmas Cards as they slowly ripple through the mail, and we're so pleased to send our thanks to you all. With the new year comes a lot of new and exciting plans we've got in store, and we can't wait to share them with you all!

Also please enjoy this exclusive video with alternative audio for the Dr. Keen vote. Normally we don't record extra endings, but since we were sick and behind schedule we wrote the additional lines in order to keep the VO's from having to reschedule with us - and now you get to hear what could have been!

Now, onto the fun future jazz:

Quarter 1:

• We're going to be fully focused on the BackerKit items: The Hyrax in the Rocks Steam game and Wylde Hare comic book are the priority, with another ROT case thrown in there if we feel good about how the schedule is going!

• Some new and exciting merch is in development! We had outreach from a jewelry company that's going to be making some stunning samples soon, and a prototype is underway for a vinyl figure. These have been a long time in the making, and we're excited to give y'all the first peak once they're ready!

• Rerelease of our game jam game, Crowing, from a few years ago is on the horizon! We're putting together a new video to advertise it, but you all can play it NOW!

Quarter 2:

• Once Hyrax in the Rocks is done, we have a brand new deductive game we're excited to work on! It's in the early-early stages of development, but we're excited to share more once there's enough meat on the bones to prop up and take a nice photo of.

• We hope you like Maddy from Your Angel's Here, because there will be some new shorts in the works bringing back her and her helpful friend Richard!

• We're looking into a couple more stand-alone short films to break into the summer and as an excuse to travel around for film festivals again! You'll get the word on when and where in case one is close by enough for us to meet up!

Quarter 3:

• Wow, you must have a lot of confidence in us if you think we plan this far ahead! Of course there are plans, but with so many moving pieces we're hesitant to get ahead of ourselves. That was a big mistake on our part last year, so the moto of 2025 is "One thing at a time, and no work on the weekends"! So far the 'one thing at a time' aspect is already a bust, but we aspire to have a healthier work / life balance this year. Last year was a whole lot of fun, but had many long and painful nights with not enough rest in between. Now the plan is to bring y'all MORE and destroy ourselves LESS in the process! A win for all involved! We'll see how it works out once the summer ends!
