I remember that moment in the season 1 finale right after Silco died you actually hear the voices in Jinx head shutting down and see her eyes going numb. Its great animation

I noticed that Will hates the name Piltover as they watch s1 — hilarious throughline for sure — but it’s steeped in linguistic patterns!!! Many cultures end up creating proper nouns and official terms from what can originate as slang or shorthand by large groups of people. Piltover is “built over” another city, crushing the one below. So cool!!!

2025-10-16 03:46:39 +0000 UTCgod i can’t even imagine how devastating it is from jinx’s perspective to see Vi show up with enforcers wearing an enforcer uniform. wearing the badge of the people who murdered their parents in cold blood and destroyed their lives. she also literally gave up their childhood safe space to caitlyn which was where they went to hide from enforcers as kids.

2025-10-16 01:40:41 +0000 UTCJinx feels less crazy because she fully accepted herself as Jinx at the end of season 1. it was the memories of being powder and the accident that were at the helm of her ptsd and she finally chose to let it all go and accept what she is now. She’s literally and figuratively alone now, and the voices have gone quiet.

I already loved her by the end of season 1, because she fits so well into the bad guy with a heart of gold trope (as seen when she gave Silco advice how to handle Jinx) and she's super loyal. The juxtaposition of her as a very serious, no-nonsense character with that stupid RNG arm was hilarious to watch, though I agree, I don't like that the arm is SO big. I love the slot machine, just wished it fit her figure better. and yeah, the Enforcer Squad really appears like a monster in this one. Using gas to catch criminals on their way to Jinx is kinda ... morally not super okay. Poor Jinx, having to see her sister of all people in an enforcer uniform. Really goes to show how far gone Vi also is right now. Heartbreaking to see these two so heavily against each other.

2025-10-15 17:11:26 +0000 UTCWith Sevika’s arm that Jinx made, she kind of incorporated Sevika gambling. There was a couple times in season 1 where she was seen playing card games with background characters and I like to think that she like the idea of chance in a fight, which the arm provides!
