Love this reaction from you - you get them! They are 4 aussie "blokes" (slang for men, hence Karabloke) who have great chemistry and a deep friendship (like brothers) which shows through in their ease around each other and ability to have fun (often at their own expense).....but I would say they take the music seriously so put those things all together and the result is a sublime band who love what they do but don't take it for granted. It is exciting getting to see the very beginnings of Album No. 5 start coming through on their social media too.

I haven't seen the Zane Lowe Interview ... But Zach Sang interviews are really good and up there with Zane Lowe. They don't do an performances in them. One interview is with them and The Chainsmokers. They have a music video with them... https://youtu.be/U0V1y2p1sgs Zach Sang Show with the Chainsmokers https://youtu.be/LdHSBSwksAg And here are the other interviews... they are all good lengths and very interesting content. https://youtu.be/ZSGS3foEIac That one is about Youngblood album... Next 2 are both from Calm Album https://youtu.be/gtIgbsZLRgU and https://youtu.be/Wu7VYf12hbw

I would def recommend checking out Self titled and Sounds Good Feels Good before their documentary as it was made during that time (which is called "how did we end up here?"). As far as personality stuff, you'd love the cocktail chats (they are from youngblood era), they're pretty short little episodes on youtube so you could probably just compile them all into one video. As far as live performances go, their set at fire fight australia was great. :)

In cocktail chats on Youtube they basically go over the making of Youngblood while getting drunk. They're fairly short videos.

as kaitlyn said the 22 min youngblood doc on apple music is fair game for you now, but their full length concert film/documentary “how did we end up here?” was filmed before the release of sounds good feels good & their entire set is from their first self-titled album so definitely listen to both of those before diving into it!

to answer the documentary question.. there is a short doc on the making of youngblood on apple music that you can watch now and then maybe after you listen to sounds good feels good / self-titled you could watch 'how did we end up here?' which is both a concert and a documentary

there’s a line in the song that they played first (it’s their song “she looks so perfect”) that goes “if i showed up with a plane ticket and a shiny diamond ring with your name on it” so michael was basically thinking about doing something with that lyric from his own song when he proposed lmaooo
