You all are really helping me and my spouse out with your pledges. We're already at the point of Krim Hue doing some art every month. I really thought it would be a slower build to this point. Aaaaaah!
I'd just like to tell you what we're working on. Krim's working on a scene illustration from chapter two that I'm funding as a way of priming the pump.
On the 18th of May, I'll open a thread that will take illustration suggestions from the first four chapters of the novel.
On the 23rd of May the first art poll will open. The scope of the options will be determine by the amount of pledge money collected at that point. If we get enough patrons it will be a full color three character illustration so please continue to help spread the word. We're almost to a two character illustration already so I know we can do it.
The last day to get Founding Patreon Dog Tag is May 31st. Patreon will request your shipping address for that. I am planning on shipping them to all Patrons, no matter where you live. They'll go out in standard letter envelopes. These are manufactured by me on my laser cutter. If you like them let me know and I might do something similar down the line.
You'll note that four out of five of the Grand Love Nubbin spots are taken. So if you want a cameo spot in the epilogue you might want to jump on it. Once all five spots are claimed I'll be sunseting the cameo reward and reopening it with something else. (Edit: As noted in the description the Cameo reward requires four months of pledging at that level) Feel free to suggest a reward in the comments.

Congratulations on the successful launch! I first found your work through ‘Manic Pixie Girlfriend’ on itch, which wasn’t too long before the first announcements about this project if I recall correctly. Still, I’ve been looking forward to this ever since so I’m glad to see things go well. Also, a Discord server sounds fun. And just to throw out another reward suggestion --I don’t know if the overhead would be worth it, but how about access to make suggestions for a short, monthly ‘interview with a character’ type thing?

For the cameo reward, you should probably indicate a minimum number of months someone needs to support at that tier to qualify. Wouldn't want someone pledging for 1 month only and thinking they're good to go. Also Patreon used to have a thing where you could set funding goals and people could see progress there. Might make sense to do that manually, indicate how much funding unlocks x level of art and how much is needed to fully fund your partner's medical stuff, and then update us on funding each month?
