Important News and a Giveaway!
Added 2023-10-05 15:37:26 +0000 UTCWooo! It’s a been yet another month and another tick upward on Masked Lioness’s, my spouse’s, transition fund. Today though I have news. After months of waiting they had their consult appointment with a doctor at OSU and very much liked what they said and showed them. They’ve pulled the lever and the teats days are officially numbered. Things are now moving way fast. It took nearly a year to get that appointment, now the scheduler will be contacting them in a 3-4 weeks and the surgery could even happen THIS year. O.O
So this clarifies things somewhat financially at least. We won’t be traveling out of state for the procedure. That’s relief. If it actually happens this year it will be far less out of pocket since we’ve already paid quite a bit into our deductible this year thanks to covid and other issues. If it does slip into next year, we’re looking at six grand out of pocket. I’m adjusting the goal posts to reflect that.
What this does however is really give us a deadline on the fund itself. It could only be three months to the surgery itself. So I’ll be running some events to help grow the Patreon and I really hope you’ll help us out with spreading the words of A Game of No Hands.
