And Sansa finishing him was everything.. The battle scene was incredibly done! Also yes, I choose violence was so good, so Cersei! And strong female characters interactions I loveee to watch!!! 2022-09-12 20:24:18 +0000 UTCA story from the Hollywood Reporter said that he was simply exhausted from spending 3 full years on season 1 alone. He just needed a well-deserved break. I don't know this for a fact, but I get the impression that these shows are incredibly difficult to produce and take alot out of the creators. He's a super talented guy, and it would be a real shame if he burned out. I'm glad he's taking a break if that's what he needs.

It is worth noting he is only leaving as show runner and probably will be back to direct episodes. Seems he left on his own and doesnt appear there were any major conflicts.

I used to suggest this to people after 6x10, but now I feel like it is even better after it is all explained by the show and then watching it after 7x7.

When Jon went up to Ramsey with that shield, it was the House Mormont sigil that was on it. Meaning that 1 of the 62 mormonts had made it through. Shows you that every number made a difference. Even those 62 recruits.

I'm all about suspension of disbelief, but man...I had a hard time believing Arya would be able to walk away after all those stabs, let alone swim to safety. And I really wasn't buying the fact that, after all that time and all those horses/people trampling over the area where Stannis burned Shireen, plus the fire, AND the snow, Davos was able to somehow see that tiny wooden stag on the ground in the dark, while it was partially covered in snow. That was a stretch. 🤷♂️

He made a name for himself directing a total of 6 episodes for GoT including Hardhome and the finale your about to watch (I can't wait!). He's also the new show-runner for season 1 of HotD. Everything he's done so far has been amazing.

From what I gather it means that her interest is with their families’ safety and not with the faith. She is essentially sending her away for her own safety as the sparrow had thrown around threats about her grandmother’s safety if she had not ‘cooperated’ with them.
