This reminded me of when I was in college Spanish and discovered her third studio album, Pies Descalzos, for a listening assignment. At 19, this was her entry into adulthood album, way before she broke into the US market. Her look was earthy and unpolished. If you ever get a chance, it's such a different vibe than we're used to - "traditional Colombian mixed with Western pop", is all I can inadequately think of. I knew nothing about music back then. Listening to it now, I realize she played with so many genres on this! RM has really taught me a lot! She rocked her acoustic guitar all over the place and even harmonica in Dónde Estás Corazón. Staccato that is basically rap - ⭐Estoy Aqui. Reggaeton sometimes, I guess? - ⭐Un Poco de Amor. Rock - Vuelve. Traditional ballad - Antología, Quiero, ⭐Te Nececito. A plaintive ballad accompanied only by a picked guitar and some synth. This has a New Age flavor! It was the latter part of the Enya and Björk eras, after all - ⭐⭐Pienso en Tí. A country tinted bop with terribly sad lyrics you feel bad dancing to - Se Quiere, Se Mata. Stars mark my favorite tracks. 😉

I’m becoming a fan of Miley and will be listening to her new album. Tae yang and Jimin sound so good together and Suga will be interviewing Taeyang on his next Suchwita show! Cannot wait! And Jimin told us that he would be collaborating with Suga during the last Festa dinner so I’m definitely looking forward to that…

I know they lost in overtime but I was happy to see suga there. The comments on NBA and ESPN where Def not a vibe. They were hating on suga as usual. I'm proud of Shakira for calling her ex out. He cheated on her with a 22 year old. And he tried to take her kids away from her. But she fought back like the queen she is. She's right those two deserve eachother. #twingolove lol

And his moves, well both him and Taeyang, but I can't keep my eyes off Jimin. I've been a very casual listener of Miley but now I want to listen to her last album before the new one comes out. All because of your praise for that project. Gracie Abrams!!! Can't thank you enough for introducing me to her music, she's so damn good. OMG Shakira packed those punches. I kept seeing comments about the song but hadn't listened to it yet. Glad I did along with your reaction which made it feel like we were gossiping together or something XD

So with Miley's song, there were a lot of theories about what/who the song was about since it came out on the 12th/13th which is when her ex-husband's birthday. And the lyrics "Built a home and watched it burn” is like direct because they lost their house in Malibu in the fire a few years ago which kinda started the beginning of the end of their relationship. I'm glad for "editing Michael" because wow, I too, didn't realize it was a basic answer to "When I was Your Man" which is clever.

To put you in some context, she and her husband (Gerard Piqué) are not together anymore because he cheated on her with that 20 something girl (Clara) in the house where they lived with their children!!! And on top of that the debt he left her, and also really soon after the split was public he started being seen with that girl. And this song in case you didn't catch it says both of their names! And she makes a lot of other references. When she says "Yo solo hago música, perdón que te sal-pique." (Piqué it's his last name and what most people known him as), and when she says "Tiene nombre de persona buena, Clara-mente no es como suena." (Her name is Clara). I have loved Shakira since her start, and I'm just so proud of her as a human, an artist, and I love this, she is so savage and I'm here for it! Sorry for the rant, great reaction as always Michael! :)
