Ever since your last group album reaction I've been listening to those remaining, thinking about which songs you're most likely gonna love, and it's been keeping me going otherwise I'd go insane 😂 Lauv is a good friend of theirs I believe, he's also on a remixed version of Make It Right (from Map of the Soul: Persona). Jungkook used to sing his song Never Not quite a lot in the past haha. As for my queens Little Mix, in my very humble opinion Jade is the actual powerhouse of the group, her voice control and versatility is insane, Perrie just tends to have the most "powerful notes" in songs. But you really can't go wrong nominating any of the girls "the best" since they're all crazy talented, I've been watching them since 2012 and to this day they fail to NOT blow me away with their vocals. Can't wait for their solo stuff - did you see Leigh-Anne on IG? She been cooking something extra delicious for us in the studio 🤩

I agree Leigh will probably be pop and R&B sort of sounds, and Jade will be just the best kind of pop, I think Perrie could be pop too, maybe like you said Beyoncé when she does ballads, also maybe pop with like a rock or musical influence, anything where she can really show off her vocals :D I would really love to see her in a Disney musical too! She would be perfect <3

This set does feel a bit different from his recorded stuff since it's acoustic, so there is more of a singer-songwriter, country vibe than his records tend to have, but I really like how clearly you can hear all the different qualities in his voice. The lead singer of Mumford and Sons is Marcus Mumford! Gold is my FAVOURITE PTX cover of all time; I'm so happy that it was requested! The bass in this song is Avi, and I just love how he gets to shine here. I think this arrangement gives all of them a lot of room to be noticed.

This performance from Fran & Andy's acoustic shows sent me down a memory rabbithole, as they were my favorite band in the 2000s. I saw F&A at a church in downtown Austin on that tour, and took my two kids who were in middle school at the time. I've got a photo of Franny making my daughter laugh while he signed her ticket afterwards 💜 My most memorable show was in 2007 at La Zona Rosa in Austin. I was up against the stage practically at Andy's feet and it was AMAZING. I'm going to catch up this week on their music that I've missed since 2013 and relisten to everything. I highly recommend all their music and Fran's fantastic storytelling! Thank you, Julie!

I fell in love with Santé, and then when Alors on Dance started, I realized I had already heard that song at clubs and danced to it not knowing what it said. I always thought my first time listening to Stromae had been here, but I never knew I had listened to him before! I love Who by Lauv feat BTS, because it just sounds so beautiful. They go along so well together. The Jikook (Jimin/Jungkook) duo always sounds magical. I love their Mistletoe cover, especially the ending of the song, it makes me feel so warm.

They bought their own studio during covid. Dougie is pronounced Duggie... Harry smashed the drums in this one. As he always does. Still obsessed with these guys and can never get enough! I've been rewatching several of their concerts lately. So happy I was able to get so many of them including their last concert of their Brazil tour in 2022. Live in Rio Nov. 2022. 🎶🎸😎🎸🎶

2023-01-30 02:19:24 +0000 UTCso glad u listened to renee rapp!! i remember when the mean girls on broadway soundtrack came out and just falling in love with her voice + plus her live performances are perfection. then sex lives of college girls is so good!! then when she came to it with this ep i fell in love with her again. her song Colorado is one of my faves, the chorus makes me wanna dance around my apartment lol. so glad someone requested her, if no one requested i would have def gotten around to it, i hope u check out the full ep (and even her show!)

Perhaps when it’s available in streaming sites. And I’m a huge JK fan but Jimin in this song is soooo good. I know he’s known for his high notes, but he should definitely do more songs in his lower register because man, that’s sexy! Jimin’s solo is coming at the end of February! The album that this song is on is called "The Man Who." It was a huge success in the UK; the album went to number 1 and won the Brit award. Fran really went from down in the dumps to living the dream. It's ok if you don't know anything about Blur. I didn't mention that Damon Albarn of Blur said something really wrong and misogynistic about Taylor Swift last year. It did not go well for him. I was so thankful that I had never been a Blur fan! There's an Oasis song that I would really like to send to you, but it may take awhile. Also, you were really nice about how I write novellas for you. I was so flattered! I just watched your Stromae reaction. I love the notes about this performance from NPR; Stromae's team had to work really hard to perform live with no samples. The dedication to perform four songs completely live is incredible!
