The vocal line performance but also the practice video because I think he’d love to see the bit with the rapline in the studio and the 95s are so great in that. 🤣 I’d just warn him that the lyrics are fantastic but it’s hard to fully understand them without watching a explain video to get all the cultural context??

Apparently, that’s how people usually become fans of SB19!! They watch a few things then never stop 😂 I have been in the rabbithole for a little over two months and I havent resurfaced since 😂 and you appreciating ken’s voice is further proof that we are indeed besties lol!! It happened with Lauren, and now with Ken. He can do so much with his voice, you’ll constantly be pleasantly surprised. He also just released his solo EP called COMPLEX last week, Feb 3. If you have some time to check it out and maybe react to it. It only has 6 songs, and some songs are only about 2 mins, so it’s a really short listen. I feel like you’ll love Criminal or Drinksmoke, but for true Beveraggi taste, it might be best to check out his first ever single “Palayo” I swear it is worth it and you’ll love it!! SB19 also has two EPs currently, so it’s really quick to go through their discog. They also have those colour coded, translated lyric videos on youtube for every song. Just saying. HAHAHA BUT DAMN LEANNA FIRESTONE 😭 SENDING ALL THE LOVE TO LEANNA Shoutout to the It’s Not All About You and the person who requested it, bc I definitely had that self absorbed friend. And appreciated the song so much. Happy to be hopefully getting The Vamps album reactions soon. I’ve liked everything I’ve heard from them so far and would love to hear more. (Allie, If you’re reading this, I’m sorry I havent gotten back with you with the last album. I’ve just been so busy lol) but truly excited bc album reactions are easier for me bc they’re like mini listening parties.

The whole album that 29 is on is about the guy she was married to and how that relationship took its toll on her and as a 20 year old person I of course cannot relate at all to being married and divorced at all let alone in one year yet somehow she makes me feel every single word she wrote. HIGHLY recommend you checking out that album even if just in your spare time but I would love to see your thoughts on it. Whoever requested Carly Pearce, ya did good lol.

2023-02-05 00:45:18 +0000 UTCi wanted to send the rm speech combined with the performance afterwards but i couldn’t find that on youtube anywhere and that’s the best quality performance for mikrokosmos from those shows so i just had to make do. the main reasons for the speech was to show the connection between army n the guys cause i think it adds a lot more emotion to the song and performance

(and i hope the vultures media will finally leave him alone when he's been there a few months, and let him serve as an ordinary citizen like he asked...)

How much I miss Jin? So soooo much, I can't believe it hasn't even been 2 months :( I miss his witty comments to army on weverse, I miss him teasing Jungkook, I miss him inviting Hobi for a drink, I'm so thankful he recorded a message per month in advance so we could get a little greeting from time to time while he's away.

It's interesting, they showed you the speech from the final day, but the mikrokosmos performance from another day.. but it DOES give context because they find that song really emotional regardless. But the day RM gave that speech, both RM and JK were sobbing during mikrokosmos, and I feel like that's the performance they meant to send you - with the context so that you'd understand why they were crying already. And wow! That performance of O Come All Ye Faithful by Pentatonix was amazing - they definitely infused it with a common African rhythm, which is I think why it reminded you of the Lion King so much. Really well done. Actually made me miss church, and I'm an atheist lol

Speaking of BTS concerts from last year - the Yet to Come Busan concert movie is out in cinemas for a limited time now if you didn't already know. I saw it yesterday and am going again tonight :D Hope you find time to go! I know you watched it already but being in theatres with fellow ARMY made the experience so amazing and I would highly recommend seeing JK's handsome face in HD!

The mikrokosmos performance that came after that speech (I understand why the requester chose the one they did it is the better quality, though that whole concert with that speech is now on dvd so I'm sure it is uploaded some where with good quality) was super emotional. The guys often got emotional while singing mikrokosmos during concerts(tae/v has talked multiple times about how much he loves performing that song), though jimin and jk are typically the ones that show it the most outwardly. Anyways, right after namjoon gave that speech all the guys went and gave him a hug and in a fan cams we saw jk taking deep breaths and trying to compose himself before he started singing. They were all a little more emotional that night. On the dvd they have a video of the guys reacting to joonie's speech. Haven't gotten a chance to watch yet but I'm pretty sure yoongi/suga yells at joonie for making them all cry. lol Dear requester army, If anyone ever requests Promise will you please give some background to the song about how he first thought of the word promise during their citifield performance and how he was so emotional. That song doesn't have nearly the impact as it does with context. Thank you, Fellow army :)

2023-02-04 01:31:44 +0000 UTCAh! I popped in to watch Mikrokosmos as I get ready to see Yet to Come in the theater tonight. Now I have all the feels! The RM ending ment is from the last night of the final LY:SY concerts in Seoul (which happened to be their last in-person concert before Covid hit). The Mikrokosmos performance is from one of the previous nights, but if you ever decide to watch one of the LY:SY concerts in full, the final night is amazing and so much more meaningful, because they wouldn't have a chance to do a concert in Korea where fans could stand and scream until the YTC show in Busan. (They'd done some Permission to Dance in Seoul shows, but the audience was not allowed to make noise or stand up...and I know that was not ideal for them). Thank you to the ARMYs and to Mike for all the love y'all always give BTS (and I miss Jin terribly!!!)

I also turned 30 in 2020 … I was having many of the same feelings during that time. Love your cards! And I love stores like that. If you ever find yourself in Chicago you should check out Chinatown. There are some really cool places in that area but there is a really popular kpop store. And check out hmart in downtown. It’s a grocery store but they make Korean food ready to go as well that is yummy! But it’s fun exploring the whole store … well to me it is but exploring food is fun to me 🤷🏻♀️ Namgi (Namjoon/rm and Yoongi/suga) are my favorite duo in bts, though I love all of the bonds. I could go on and on about why but in short it’s more subtle but so much deep history.

I’ve see all of them get emotional but Jimin and JK really do get super emotional. I’ve seen JK crying while singing Mikrokosmos.. and yes, we need to protect RM at all cost, RM, who got the brunt of the hate early on in their careers and shielded the boys from hearing them.
