2023-02-26 04:52:34 +0000 UTCthe pen game is so strong and it’s such an easy album to listen to!! i had it on a loop all day at work yesterday and it was the perfect background music - i do miss the pop vibes we got on minor and TIWIFL but i completely understand gracie wanting to stray away from the sonics of those projects especially bc her ex produced a lot of them it’s always been interesting to me how he produced songs that she wrote about him/their relationship over the years bc they’d always end up back together after a rough patch, but her solely working with aaron for this album shows so much personal growth & how she officially closed that chapter w/ her ex after so many years of ups and downs which makes me v happy for her

I agree, i can't think about comparing it to TIWIFL yet because ive had so much time with that "album". But im so proud of gracie and how cohesive and honest this body of work is
