She wrote it after a friend of her’s sister committed suicide and she imagined not having her sister anymore. Heartbreaking origin of the song, but I though it was beautiful as well. I’m sorry that you’ve been crying a lot lately. I hope you’re okay. Even if it isn’t for us, I think it’d be a wonderful time to give mono a listen. Being in a hard time is the best time to listen to mono and just hide away from the world for a little while. 💚💜
