2023-04-30 10:20:05 +0000 UTCIdk about everyone else but I always either skip the intros or just listen to the music and look away because there's usually spoilers. Most animes do that.

2023-04-20 14:23:45 +0000 UTCI know it's your choice but I still heavily recommend the sub because I think the voice acting in a lot of emotional moments throughout the series sounds better in sub. The range and emotions in the Japanese voices is so good and I feel that the dub does not deliver as well on those emotions.

2023-04-19 01:23:29 +0000 UTCI think the sub of this show is a 10/10 & the dub is a 9.5. I totally understand your decision, you’d miss some things having to read along especially with quicker dialogue scenes. Also love how the build the characters and story the first few episodes!

But in general I do feel all of the seasons' openings include spoilery scenes. I guess it depends on how much you'd consider them as a spoiler

I feel like it would have been much harder for me personally to follow the story with sub the first time around, especially since I don’t watch a lot of foreign cinema and aren’t used to having to pay attention to all that at once😅. As far as dubs go, AoT is pretty stellar (at least comparatively- most are just cringe lol)

On my first watch there was so much going on that I couldn't even figure out what they were showing :))
