Korra is both the last and the first avatar in a way. the first avatar cycle ended with her and the connection to all avatars before her has been lost, but by reuniting with Raava she's started the new avatar cycle and after her death there will be a new avatar

2023-07-07 03:26:11 +0000 UTCTheres too much going on in season 2, i wish they had focused on the civil war and less on the movers towards the end as a secondary plot line. it just wrapped up without any more fighting?? anyway s3 and 4 are much better so were through it now! i do love the score in this finale though 'jinora's light' is gorgeous

2023-07-06 18:55:00 +0000 UTCi dont mind the loss of the past lives, they made a risky choice and imo it works and imrpoves korras development that the avatar is not who she NEEDS to be. being herself is perfectly fine. i’m so excited for s3 and s4 !! some of my favorite pieces of media ever

2023-07-06 14:45:13 +0000 UTCI'mso happy they just left Korra as Korra im the final fight and not some light-being or something, since the talk with Tenzin was all about being herself. The loss of the past avatars is the biggest reason why people don't like the series. The season was rough all around, due to the studio screwing the team over, but this ending had people UPSET. But we made it and it is time for season 3. It's not only considered the best season of Korra, but one of the best in the whole Avatar series. I am so so excited for your reaction

We went into this show knowing it was an extension of ATLA and we liked the connections built there, because the first installment was basically flawless. Korra is dealing with a whole new set of problems and mistakes that couldn't be foreseen by Aang or any recent Avatar prior. The ATLA creators took a creative gamble this season and it was weird but it got us Avatar Wan and Spirit episodes so I'm grateful. Season 3 will be fun for us all :)
