It will never not be funny that BTS, who have been mistreated by the Western music industry and clearly snubbed and used for ratings bait by the Grammys themselves multiple times, staged a Heist/Caper style break in of the Grammys/Western music industry. In classic BTS fashion, they say a classy FU right to their faces, and then get a thank you for it, earning the only standing ovation of the night.

She mentioned Doug Morris because he was the head of Atlantic Records; her complaints went to him. I have to say that this is one of the most dunderheaded stories about the music business I have ever heard. Who tells a piano virtuoso to remove the pianos from her record? That's like telling Mariah that she doesn't need to sing so high, or asking Taylor to sing someone else's songs. Really glad we got to hear some more Maisie Peters and Sara Bareilles this month!

I'd love to see what you think of Love Run (1st album) and Ruin (latest album) as they're just as lyrically amazing as THATW! Definitely worth a listen even just for yourself, if not content. It wasn’t written as a children’s song (the original lyric “bourbon in a glass and grass” was changed to “old tv shows and snow”), but this is the song that has stuck with me. It’s a good for the soul song. “I love winners when they cry, losers when they try, music when it’s good, and life” has carried me through. 🐥

The Butter remix MV is probably the epitome of this! I know how much you love Jungkook, and he has been putting out a lot of content for his Seven promotions, so I wanted to recommend the Suchwita episode with him. Of course I’d love to see you react, but I wanted to suggest it even if you just watch it on your own time because it is 38+ minutes of Jungkook being the Jungkookiest. The show is so well done in general and Yoongi has really settled into his role as a great host for the show. I really can’t recommend it enough!

BTS definitely went through so many obstacles before their Grammy performance, and you wouldn't be able to tell from how well they pulled that off.
