I can already picture myself on a rainy evening getting cozy in my blanket with a mug in my hands and just getting lost in the perfection that is this album. He really delivered. I absolutely love how all of their solo projects are so THEM, like of course they are but still... I could not imagine Tae's album going any other way, this style suits him so well and he really shines in it, too. Yet another masterpiece from the boys.

Perfect encapsulates Tae's preferences in music and aesthetics and I'm really proud of him for being able to release this. I freaking love everything about this, it is right up my alley and I could not be more excited. As of ranking, I cannot decide on a full tier but Love me again I think is my favorite for now but I've being jamming to all of them no stop. BTW, He did some Live performances already of the songs, went to Suga's Suchwita show and IU's palette where They sang together (she sang on of his songs, he sang one of his as well and then They sang a duet of one of hers! !) It was really cool and They sound amazing!!

I can never play just one song, it's either all 6 or nothing :D This album is just such a gift for me cause I love this style from him, it fits him so well and it brings me so much peace and comfort. It reminded me of Maye or The Marías, I love the dreamy vibes (btw, since you liked the song so much pleaseee check out Ruthless by The Marías omg). The video paired with the music and vocals made me feel like I was in paradise honestly. I definitely will be checking out Cautious Clay now.

I also always love that Taehyung is not afraid to let there be a strong instrumental focus playing out the song. The flute on slow dancing is indeed superior and chef kiss to this song. Love Me Again, maybe because it was the first one we heard and had a video for, stole my breathe away. He was stunning and his vocals were so good. And For Us just hits me every time, absolutely love it. He is actually releasing a music video for that too, however it is the only one that we have not been provided a release date for. Curious what he is up to 🤔. He also filmed all his videos in Spain. Talk about a stunning backdrop to his album.

Thought they were good but wasn’t fully feeling it at first. It wasn’t until the full album came out and it just hit differently. Adore his whole album now and love just having it play in the background. For Us is my absolute favourite with Slow Dancing at a very close second.

The way you perceive and analyze songs and shows/movies it makes me feel as if I'm watching/listening to them for the first time because you shine a whole different light and perspective to it and it always amazes me how fast you pick up on things. Ok moving on; I don't know if this your first Kpop album, I'm assuming that it is, but boy are you in for a treat if you planning on buying more. Kpop albums are like a whole different playing field from western artist album they give you so much stuff! I'm a album collecter and when I tell you.. I was so surprise when I got my first Kpop album (Map of the Soul 7 to be exact). I'm huge carat, seventeen's fandom name, and so of course I got a lot of seventeen's albums and when I tell you they make sure we're never bored. Some of the stuff they give in their albums ranges from putting the album together, they make sure we're diverse in everything because I was feeling like bob the builder, then to a knitting kit, which I have yet to do I'm a little scared, and then recently giving us a pc (photo card) binder (which is basically a mini photo album for your photo cards in the album). So I'm really excited to see if you get anymore Kpop albums! Love the reactions keep up the good work! 🫶🏾💜 Also! I don't know if anyone mentioned this in the comments but the dog on the cover and thought out the video is really famous in the army community; his name is Yeontan and he richer than a lot of us 😭. He is Taehyung's dog and he been around since he was a puppy maybe 2017-2018 if I can remember correctly.

2023-09-13 01:05:41 +0000 UTCTae’s album is such a (V)ibe Loved the unexpected unboxing! Their albums (and I believe kpop albums in general) always come with loads of fun extras. Which reminds me to tell you that Jack in the box released j-hope’s edition which includes some lollapalooza live songs, highly recommend. Before I forget, Tae has a dog called Yeontan (yes, like one of your patreons) and we all believed that was him in the first video he appeared on, but turns out they had to find a double (I believe his name is Rocky) because they filmed in Spain and they couldn’t take Yeontan with them. I love how much Tae loves his doggo. I’m floored, I didn’t know about Cautious Clay, I’ll definitely queue him for tomorrow’s commute. The fact that I had tears forming in my eyes right before you said the same during For Us, though my tears came from seeing how much you were enjoying that wonderful song. I’m so proud of Tae going for his sound and trusting us with his music whcih he worked on with so much love and care. And I love how all their different styles come together to form this wonderful team together 🥺

They always put so much thought into what goes in there and each version has a purpose that matches the concept they are going for. I've been thinking a lot about the concept of a Layover, and how each song fits the concept of a short period of stopping and resting before moving on--and how each song connects to the next. Tae talks a lot about the album and choices he made on his appearance on IU's Palette that came out today (which is a really delightful episode start to finish with gorgeous singing by both of them). This project is so V and so good. I'm glad he took all the time he needed to create an album that he can be proud of. It's gorgeous.

Tae said he choose Slow Dancing as the title track cause he thought it would be Army's favorite and he was so right, the vibe of the song is just perfect, even tho For Us is a close 1 for me hehe. I'm really excited to see more of the boys solo projects. Isn't amazing how they have such diferent styles, but work so well together, making this perfect group that we love? They're really magic to me.

Tae has been working on this album and saying it was going to come out for 2-3 years now and I don’t think any of the original songs have been kept. He has given clips of so many songs but decides he doesn’t like them and just throws it away. I think he was very scared to finally release anything so it’s kind of like ‘be fragile with my music because I’m exposed’ kind of thing.

Personally, I can't pick my favorite.
