I have watched this in Halloween for years and that’s what this movie is for me now lol it’s a timeless classic 🙌🏼 btw yes it was a roulette, but not the Russian one because that’s the one with the gun 😅

He composed the music for most of Tim Burton’s films (including the Simpsons), the 1989 Batman, plus so so many huge films between the 1990’s to now. A common mistake people make is think this was directed by Tim Burton because it was based on one of his poems and drawings, but he actually produced it and the director was Henry Selick. I don't know if you've seen Klaus (2019) but if not I highly recommend it, it's one of my "recent" favorite Christmas movies.
