i heavily reccomend watching beautiful boy!!!! it’s heavy but one of timothees best movies (if not the best)

I felt so much happiness watching this in theatres and so much happiness watching it again today. I know a lot of people were skeptical and said it wasn't the Gene Wilder willy Wonka, but like you expressed.. this is a younger Willy. Timmy is awesome, I truly recommend Beautiful Boy. Whether you watch it here ( I'd love that ) or on your own time.. It is based on a true story. Timmy and Steve carrell.. bring tissues. It is an incredible movie and the first one I saw Timothee as the lead.

I was so skeptical going into the theater, but Timmy really pulled it off in my eyes. His vocals obviously aren’t groundbreaking but I found him so charming. I loved it.

Same! Like its a fun and cute movie but emotionally it didnt comment for me. That and timothee chalamet's singing attempts. I admire how he really goes for it in this role but i would have preferred this wasnt a musical the songs didnt do much for me

If I were bella’s parents I would also be freaked out by her borderline obsession with what looks just like a high school relationship. and absolute callousness about the crazy effect it had on her when it ended. that’s just codependency

I watched this before going to bed yesterday and forgot to leave a comment. I've actually never watched the original movie (just the Johnny Depp one) but as a chocolate fan myself I love the premise. I do agree Timothee's vocals are a bit lacking but he compensates in charisma. I highly recommend Call Me By Your Name if you want to see him in more movies as the main lead.

While watching I was making mental notes of things to say, but you ended up saying exactly what I was thinking! Thanks for the reaction and can't wait to watch Mean Girls with you. I have a feeling that one will focus a bit more on the vocals.

Ooh loved Wonka so much! Don’t get me wrong I love Charlie and the chocolate factory (the Tim Burton, hate the first one lol)! But this was on another level🙌🏼 the characters the plot the music, I got chills and I cried while watching this at the movies❤️ can’t wait to see your reaction to this!

For some reason I felt a little emotionally disconnected from this, even thought the music was fun and I thought on paper everyone did well with their roles. Idk what it was. Curious to see what you think though!
