I loved this album so much and I love your reaction to it. Honestly I think this album Megan has done much better in the hook/chorus department than previous projects. I think, if you're looking to get into Megs discography, her earlier projects Fever and Tina Snow are good picks. Something For the Hotties is literally all gas no breaks. As far as her other main albums, I like Traumazine overall more than Good News, that being said, they're both still great. Looking back on those compared to MEGAN, her growth is crazy. She is such a genuine human and I just and support her heavy. Also, if you haven't already, I hope you react to the music videos for Cobra, Boa, Mamushi, and Hiss as they are truly visual candy!

She was like the first super popular female rapper to come along in a long time since maybe cardi and before that was Nikki I feel like because she's so young, a lot of people try to dismiss her accomplishments and her contributions to female rap And being a black woman in general it's just fucking hard sometimes and I appreciate Megan And she's Army so we love her for that!!! My only problem with the cheesecake factory is that I'm allergic to dairy so I won't be eating any cheesecake but the rest of their food be popping so I don't know what them girls are talking about

I love her songs but I love her freestyles more. They really display how talented she is. If you’re interested she has a short compilation album that’s 45mins of straight free styles/ bars called “something for thee hotties” 🙂

Now that Megan is out of her bad record deal with her old company, all of her videos for this album were self funded and they are so sick! (She usually creates the story or helps produce them herself.) Even the videos right before she left the label were top tier! Also, because cobra was the first single, I think the end of the album wasn’t so jarring for those familiar with her and she has had similar songs discussing depression in the past. She has been open with fans about how she handled all the events which kept happening back to back. (Mother and grandmother passing, shooting, online hate, boyfriend cheating, etc.) Really hope you listen to more of her music! She has been through so much and I’m so proud of her as a fan! Also, she has such a sick pen but I think it’s often looked over bc of the subject matter. I can definitely see where it could be repetitive, but I think she does a good job of including really slick bars in literally almost bar! Also can’t remember if you listened to the butter remix with her on it or not haha
