Lawrence are so good! You should so react to their acoustic-ish performances for Whatcha Want, Guy I Used To Be, I'm Confident That I'm Insecure, and 23. You'll love them.

Talia

PLEASEEE the last five years is one of my favorite musicals, I've done multiple songs from it for competitions it is such an amazing musical and I think it's one of the best musical to movie adaptations I think it's so well done!! You should definitely watch it Michael I'd love to rewatch with you!!!

eden

Jimin has an acoustic version for WHO, which is amazing. And also two short clips singing the acoustic version live.

valeria castillo

Olivia has been releasing more music consistently and I'm so excited cause there was a point where there were no releases for so long. like you said, her music is so honest. It is definitely one of my favourite things about her and her music. I can't wait for her first full-length project in this new era of her career!

Samantha

The U2 song was about the US backed coup in El Salvador in the 80s, the instruction to the guitarist was to put the sound of fighter planes through the guitar

Kevin Magee

The Even If Die reaction brought me back to Hwarrang which was my first ever kdrama. It's not the best kdrama but it is so fun and I loved getting to see Tae act.

Jillian Johnson

As a Gen-Xer, my eyes are stinging at the idea of U2 being forgotten and laughable. They were not only one of the best bands in the world, they were so damned influential. (When I heard Coldplay the first time, I thought - oh, they want to be U2) That screaming electric guitar feels familiar because of The Edge, the stage name of the guitar player (the one in the hat). He was one of the first to make actual music out of reverb. Reverb was just a result of the technology of an electric guitar - until it became integrated into the music. Seems like a no-brainer, but he was a genius with it. Bono was sweaty sex personified on stage, so your "this fucks" made perfect sense to me. LOL! He was as close to a celebrity crush as I ever had in my hormonal teens. He was their lyricist and often wrote heartbreakingly about the war between Northern and Southern Ireland. (they're Irish if you didn't know.) Maybe you'd recognize "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" or "Where the Streets Have No Name". "With or Without You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" are the others on The Joshua Tree that there might be a glimmer of a chance you've heard. They were hit singles in the US. The album itself won two Grammys, including Album of the Year.... Oh, man, I hope you get more custom requests! T.T T.T T.T

FlyUshkiFly

I have to say Goblin would be a great place to start with kdramas, it's one of the most well known and loved ones ever

Aninha Silva

tears is perrie's second single and both songs have been performed live a couple of times like normal version and acoustic and are so good. i've missed pez performing live and both songs have three versions up on spotify (regular version, acoustic and extended version)

Nine Anutza

Tears was Perrie’s second single

Paige

Thanks Michael for providing some more clarity on why you haven't reacted to as many of LM solo singles so far, because you prefer to review albums are are waiting. I think these will be dropping later this year though not sure of any date yet. However, you should definitely check out Jades MV for her single "Angel of my dreams', it is very artistic, very Jade, has a lot to say.

Ivan Lee

Oh I’d watch for sure

chimelle6

Yaas both of them 🙌🏼

Stephanie Jensen

The Dune movies are amazing, such an experience. I'd love to see it here too

I don't think we're gonna have another Yoongi album before his discharge, even tho he surely have tons of songs for it, I believe he hadn't enough time to record a music video, do some concept photoshoots or a live performance. He was busy with the tour and Suchwita, I believe it was the last thing he worked on before enlisting, but I hope I'm wrong lol. I'll be so happy with anything he left prepared for us. I LOVE this Tae and Jin song, one of my favorites OST. So, the "Prom Party" happened during Festa a few times and the boys prepared so many things for army, this particular year, 2018, the units were Taehyung and Jin, who performed this song, Jimin and Jungkook, who performed a choreography for Michael Jackson's "black or white", you can even see them with the hats on some parts of the video, and the rap line presented us with ddaeng, that you already know. These prom partys are super fun, we have special performances, dynamics and just the best time, it's super worth watching. Now, Jimin SERVED so much with this performance, everyday I'm more obsessed with WHO and this choreography. And the stability of his vocals while performing it??? I can't stop watching.

may

Thank you!! That means alot to me.

Portia Crain

Just here to vote for reactions to the ‘Dune’ movies 🙋🏻‍♀️

Stephanie Jensen

I love your synopsis! 🙂

CGoerlich

in the lawrence docu, the song that was playing you didn't know was chocolate by the 1975 :)

Nine Anutza

Definitely on the songs! But I don’t see him releasing an album without a clear concert and mvs to go along with it, which I don’t think he would have had time for. Though you really never know with them and how hard they work. I mean we still have those two photoshoots he teased that we don’t know what they were for. Haha I could be completely off and they could be for an album still. 🤷🏻‍♀️

chimelle6

i don't think he would release an album but it's because of his military and not because he doesn't have the material. I'm sure he has at least 2 albums worth of songs that he could release.

Maya

I don’t foresee another Agust D album just because he had planned his tour and had his show too so I feel like he had a bit more going on than the other guys giving him less time to prepare another album but they’re always shocking us so I could be completely wrong. I could see him possibly being one of the first to have a solo album or something after finishing his service though because his form of serving is basically a desk job, meaning he gets to go home in the evening and would have more time to start thinking on ideas. The guys in bases don’t really get an alone time.

chimelle6

everytime you react to jeremy jordan, my heart is so happy because i love his voice so much <3 and since the last 5 years is coming to broadway with nick jonas and adrianne warren, you should check out the full movie with jeremy jordan and anna kendrick, the full version is on youtube as well as every song in full like this one and i love it <3 cant never get enough of his voice and i love his voice together with anna and their duets in that movie <3

Nine Anutza

So you asked about the novel I wrote that the song Holy Smokes inspired... it's in the process of being edited right now which is huge for me because I have written 12 rough drafts for different books but have never gotten to this point!! Here is the synopsis of my romance novel which is a second chance cowboy romance. It has two parts the first part is hugely inspired by Holy Smokes by Baily Zimmerman. And the song helped me create two amazing characters that I feel incredibly connected too. "When Savannah is unexpectedly fired, she returns to Troubles Cove determined to dream new dreams and rediscover herself. However her homecoming is bittersweet-marked with tension and unresolved heartbreak. Meanwhile, superstar hockey player Bentley White is back home to help care for his father who has suddenly become ill. When he walks into his childhood home to find that his father's nurse is none other than the girl he broke -up with the day of graduation- his whole world is turned upside down. As these two are forced to confront their painful history, old feelings begin to resurface. Can they navigate the complexities of their emotions and find a way back to each other? Or will the scars of their past prove to be deep to heal?

Portia Crain

Yay!! I’m so glad you liked Jensen!! The song definitely brings multiple tears to my eyes, but is still so soothing and touching. Def am gonna love you reacting to her more 💛

Hannah Garcia

the bear cast request 😌💕

ariel

Enjoyed the Perrie upload! Obviously super excited for you to check all the Little Mix solo songs and performances. But I get wanting to wait for full albums. I think Jade may be closest to have a fully fleshed out release date but they’re definitely taking their time. I think their labels too are really gaging the popularity as well based on the singles.

Rebecca

Just bought my ticket to see Lawrence when they come to my town. Thank you to this channel for introducing me. U2 definitely had a heyday, and Joshua Tree was the heart of it. I was excited to listen to "Bullet the Blue Sky" again. That whole album is about an outsider's prospective of the U.S, which might help make those lyrics make more sense. I'm glad you liked Martin Sexton. I was pretty sure you would appreciate his range. If he comes to a club near you, he is not to be missed.

Julie B

Love that you got to see this lil dance practice with Yoongi! To answer the question of more music before he's done with military - there's no news but I would say its extremely unlikely, for the reason that he's actually doing public service work instead of military conscription work (unlike the other 6 boys) because of his injured shoulder. A lot of folks see public service work as the "easier" option so he's been entirely off the grid and calling absolutely no attention to himself - while the other boys have been pretty present on social media posting music and photos and messages on weverse whenever they're on breaks, he left and more or less hasn't been heard from since besides prerecorded Suchwita episodes. It seems unlikely that he would release music during this time, because it would have reallyy poor optics. Even the other guys get some heat for their releases - it's technically illegal to do any non-military work during conscription but they used the loophole of recording and planning everything prior to leaving so it's fine - but if Yoongi does it too he could get very "wowwwww so he's not even doing real military service and has the audacity to do famous people thingsss" reactions :((( I could be totally wrong! Maybe we'll be blessed with an Agust D drop next month. The boys keep shocking me over and over!! I'm just making an educated guess based on his general public non-activity since he left :(

Aishwarya Majumdar

if you love jeremy jordan then you should DEFINITELY check out the musical Newsies!!!! he is the main character, and there’s a professional recording of the whole show on Disney+ so it’s very easy to access. it’s one of my all time favorite musicals, and it’s been so long since you’ve reacted to a stage show :)

Alexander

ok im here to update my comment in terms of kdramas. Goblin is great, it's a classic and was one of my favorites for a long time, it has romance and comedy while following a complex fantasy story. Vincenzo is another good entry into kdramas because its so digestible. It has action, romance, and comedy. I actually caught my parents watching it since it had Spanish subtitles and I was so shocked at how much they loved it (they actually saw it before I did)! Crash Landing on You is also really great and interesting. Those are just some of my top 3 recommendations as you get acquainted and start figuring out which direction you want to go in.

Lizzy

Ooh there's actually an acoustic version of Who. I was about to share an Instagram reel where he sings it but just saw you liked it so you've already seen it 💜

Mariana

super quickly, GOBLIN??!! I love that drama and the sound track is one of my favorites!!

Lizzy

I get why you think Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa is a shift from what I normally request. BUT, if you really think about it, it's not. At the end of the day, what moves my spirit are powerhouse vocals and artists who go above and beyond to perfect their craft. Beth and Joe are individually famous but worked on a collab album and tour, which is what you see in the video I sent. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I always view that song specifically as the one you put on on a Sunday night while it's raining outside. Pour yourself a glass of wine, turn on the fireplace and lose yourself in the deepest level of the blues. LOVE it and love YOU!

Ibby

No, no Kacey did write the song, not a cover. Its from like 2012. Before her first album (Same Trailer Different Park) and somehow didnt make it onto the album. But here she is still performing it like 10 years later. And she did, at least for some time, grow up in a trailer park Very exciting that you want to check out Golden Hour. Such a lovely album

Simon Falk

So glad to see more ATEEZ here! and sooo excited for you to get to their album (specially the track 'Blind'!!!). This music video ties in with Halazia, in their dystopian storyline, where they're fighting against a dictatorship. In this one they're basically trying to get the media/authorities attention so they can put their plans into action, that's why them seem happy to be arrested and chased by the police. There's a lot more to it but I think this sums up well enough. I'm also so happy to got introduced to Zerobaseone! They're my newest addiction and they're soooo talented. It's honestly a shame they're just a temporary group, but I'm very excited to see what they'll bring to the table in the 18 months they have left

Giu Bressani

I'm usually a silent watcher but I had to comment when you said Ateez have alot of energy because you are so right! I have had the privilege to have seen them live 4 times now and their energy is unbelievable. There are barely any breaks during their shows. Just back to back intense performances and even when they are drenched in sweat they are still going like they are having the time of their lives. You can tell how much they enjoy performing. It's very powerful to witness. I'm begging for a break half way through the show 😅😅 and they're just GO GO GO!!

Sandi

Thank you! It's so good to be back. I missed doing these. 🙂

CGoerlich

Welcome back!

Julie B

Yeee I wasn't sure whether my request was gonna be part of this month but apparently I made it 👏😂 My name is pronounced just like the English name Michelle, my 11 year old self just wrote it like this once and haven't looked back since lol. I'm glad you enjoyed In Bloom, it really is very catchy and it's probably my most played song from their discography even now. ZB1's fans are called "zerose", so roses and flowers in general are associated with them a lot. They do a lot of what one could call "pure pop", or just bubbly, upbeat music, drum n base has kind of become their thing as well, but they do have songs that dive into other genres as well. Fans sometimes call them a "girl group" for fun because of their sound and concept, and because the guys are actually huge stans of many girl groups and often do covers of their songs. Definitely not your typical masculine, strong kind of a boy group, but we'll see what they come up with in the future. The first member you paussed on and replayed (after the first chorus) is Ricky, he has a very gentle and emotional voice and has built multiple iconic bridges throughout their discography. The other one who starts the second pre-chorus is Taerae, who's one of the main vocalists and has probably the biggest range & distinct vocal tone. The guys have very recently announced a new album coming at the end of August, and the concept film that dropped yesterday had the whole fandom gagged lol. It's giving Wings era BTS and I'm so here for it. I'm also really glad there's more Ateez! They're one of my favorite boy groups, great and unique discography for sure. Also a bunch of very unhinged and unserious, funny guys, I love watching their behind the scenes. I also believe they're besties with Stray Kids...? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Crazy Form is one of my favorite tracks from them, they either go nuts or epic, nothing in between haha. Jongho, the one who sings the crazy high note(s) is probably one of the - if not THE - best and craziest vocalists I know, I'm obsessed with his voice and all the insane things he does with it. Also, Hongjoong - the rapper that does the news/dancing on cars scene - reminds me so much of J-hope, not only with his rapping but style and personality-wise as well. Or I just see BTS everywhere and in everything cs I miss them lol.

Michel

Omg yay! So stoked to see Jensen McRae Here! She probably would have been my first request if I'd made it into this tier :) her EP "Who Hurt You?" Is one of my all-time favs and Massachusetts is probably my most streamed song so far this year!

Megan

I LOVE U LOTS! thank u so much. 🤍

emmy

I’m so glad you enjoyed Moving Too Fast, it’s one of my favorite numbers of the musical but also every number is amazing, to be honest. I’m glad I could get you curious! It’s a great musical and a great movie, so I’m sure you would enjoy it! I loved watching your reaction and analysis! And I mean….getting to listen to Jeremy Jordan for an hour and a half is MY ideal way of living tbh.

Abbi Crawford

You did miss two Perrie singles! But that’s alright lol I saw a couple interviews a while ago where she said the album was basically finished, but I don’t know if she’s said anything about a release date.

Jayde Ritchey

Yes, so happy to be back!!! I have a lot coming to you. So, yes this performance was done around the same time she had the interview about her pregnancies and the meaning behind Cry Pretty. Maddie & Tae is the duo while Runaway June is the trio. And yes, sorry about the Facebook version. For whatever reason CMT took it off YouTube and there was no other version of it up anywhere on there (believe me I searched hard ... took me forever to even find this one). They had videos from their tour when they did the medley, but I wanted you to react to this one specifically. Here is the list of songs in order: Stand By Your Man - Tammy Wynette 9 To 5 - Dolly Parton Rocking With the Rhythm of the Rain - The Judds Independence Day - Martina McBride Wild One - Faith Hill Why Haven't I Heard From You - Reba Man! I Feel Like a Woman! - Shania Twain Cry Pretty - Carrie Underwood

CGoerlich

Finally sampling The Last Five Years!!!!! I love that musical.

Ayanda Somdaka

I love that u finally reacted to nessa barret! She doesn’t shy away from dark topics but her storytelling is sooo amazing and shes so relatable

Chireny de Groot

The Last Five Years is amazing! Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan fit perfectly into the parts.

Sadye Eisenhauer

I'm glad you enjoyed the bears in trees song, I'll definitely recommend some more in the future :)
