They're messy AF, and that's why we watch. Can you imagine if all the characters always did the right thing and the show was just about them working and paying their bills and not getting into car accidents?😂 Plus they're 22! I don't know many 22 year olds who have their shit together, you know?

Like you let this woman flirt with you all night, barely pushing back against it. You just stand there when she says she wants you to watch her swim naked again. You don't tell your wife any of this, and then you let this woman who you know wants you start wiping on your face and you have the nerve to look surprised that she kissed you. You are ten feet from your own bathroom, sir. Go wash the paint off your damn self. And Lucas. I've already ranted about him last time, so I'll borrow a line from Taylor Swift, "Is it insensitive for me to say get your shit together..." For real, though, like what is wrong with the Scott boys? I love that you see Peyton's side of this. Like this man keeps leading her on and then throwing her away. I don't like that Haley is yelling at Peyton for cheating. Because Peyton is not cheating on anyone. Lucas is the cheater and I feel like she is taking all of her anger for Lucas out on Peyton, which is unfair. But I love that Brooke sees through Peyton and Lucas and is just sitting back watching while they flail around trying to figure out what she already knows.

First, I the situation with Nathan and Haley at the bar is interesting, because I don't think that Nathan did anything wrong in wanting to protect his wife from being harassed, but I also get Haley being upset. She's just getting her husband back after months of him acting like a different person after being injured in a bar fight. So it makes sense, even if I think Nate's reaction was justified. Actually, I would've loved to see Haley turn around and punch the guy herself. I don't care where you are or what industry you work in, no one has a right to put their hands on you without your consent. Ahhh, Nanny Carrie. Now, this is a situation where Nathan is absolutely in the wrong. I get that he isn't good with setting boundaries with these women, and that it's actually a consistency with his character. I also think that it's human nature to feel a certain amount of flattery when someone shows interest in you, whether romantic or just platonic. HOWEVER, he lets it go way too far. It's not like he's oblivious to what she's doing, especially when she's as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. So glad the Mouth/Alice stuff is ended or nearing its end. I hate it a whole lot. Actually, I feel like the more times I watch through this show, the less I like Mouth. And it's not the actor's fault. I think he did a great job with what he was given. But Mouth is the epitome of the Toxic Nice Guy and it gives me the ick. I pretty much agree with everything you said about the Lucas/Lindsey/Peyton triangle. Peyton isn't making great decisions, but at the end of the day she isn't the one in the supposedly committed relationship. That's Lucas. Season 5 Lucas is such a tool. I love Brooke and Owen is perfectly fine, but I don't feel any chemistry in their scenes, and her getting naked in his backseat like the high-school version of herself gave me so much second-hand embarrassment.

I just feel like it has to be hard for her to be desperately in love with this guy who broke up with her because she was 19 years old but wasn’t ready to get married yet. And now he keeps sort of leading her on too! Also, Skills does eventually get his own story lines and let me be the one to tell you that you are in for a wild ride! Love your reactions, can’t wait for more!
