Love the content you do especially anything related to BTS (that was the reason I subscribed the YT channel and here). I don't know how or where to put this on and I know you've watched a few Run BTS episodes now but I recommend you watch the Run BTS! 2022 Special Episode - Fly BTS Fly Part 1 or 2, I've almost triggered my asthma from laughing to hard and I'm sure you would enjoy it (whether or not you record it for the monthly request) It truly brings a smile on your face especially if your having a long day.

Noone can hold a candle to their performances. The set, the story the outfits, dance cooresponds to the lyrics (which is quite rare for some reason in kpop), Vocals! Energy, emotional delivery This one performance made me army for life. Since then not a single kpop performance i saw except bts could compete. They are truly best performers of our generation

Here in America, you would never see that, not even for legendary artists for a tribute, maybe less than 10 minutes lol the fact that this is an award show. And the crowd! This was also the year they won all 4 daesangs at both MMA and MAMA meaning 8 grand prizes in all. They’re the first and only group to do this. Glad you enjoyed! Side note: since you loved the Dionysus choreography, there is a dance practice for this version. (MMA ‘Dionysus’ dance practice) You can’t see each more a lot more clearly.

Lol That year bts did a clean sweep of all the daesang awards (similar to if one artist won all the of the major awards at the Grammys) that year, which had never happened before. And that performance of them playing different gods was such a flex in front of the industry that tried to keep them down since the beginning. Such a big big moment in their career. If my memory is correct a lot of the prerecorded stuff still had a small live audience that got to watch all the recording performances in person. All the member’s solo stuff was prerecorded besides Jimin’s. He did do a recording but decided last minute to do his live on the actual day. 2025-01-04 03:19:50 +0000 UTCGood job on picking out Hakuna Matata in Boy in Luv! I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone catch it on first-listen without the benefit of subtitles. Whenever you get to Skool Luv Affair, I'm really looking forward to it - I know there are a couple songs on there that you're going to love. This was one of the first full performances of BTS that I ever saw (I became ARMY just two months before it happened) - and I'm still floored to this day by how wonderfully it was put together and how absolutely beautiful and unique all of their individual stages were. We learned much later that the original plan was for BTS to enlist at the end of 2020, which meant that at the time, they thought this was their last big MMA performance - so they really went all out. I'm glad they did - the 2020 MMA/MAMA performances were amazing too, but without the live audience they don't have quite the same feel as this one. You completely forget when you're watching that you're actually watching an AWARD SHOW... they just paused the award show in order to have BTS perform for a full 40 minutes. The Grammys could never. lol

And I wonder a lot whether it was so big because we know now it was probably going to be one of their last award show performances before enlistment (but then covid happened). It's such a cool retrospective of their whole career to that point. And to think they went from No More Dream to this stage in less than 7 years. 2025 is going to be such a special year as our kings all return and reunite again!!

What a phenomenal performance, and to think that in 6 months we're gonna have them all back together to bless us with more of this, I can't wait! As was already said in the comments, since Dionysus is the greek god of wine and festivity, this performance has a lot of greek mythology references and I just love that. I'm super looking forward to Skool Luv Affair reaction, my favorite out of the school trilogy. Thank you so much to you guys who combined your requests and made this happen 💜

This is why they have to go last for performances because imagine going after this T_T LOL. 2025-01-03 22:56:57 +0000 UTCalso, side info that I personally find really important: the horses were not present for the live audience performance, that part was pre recorded - I still think it was unnecessary and the light effects etc are still...not good for the horses, but at least it was not as loud and hectic when the horses were there I guess

2025-01-03 22:30:26 +0000 UTCI cannot put into words how gagged I was when I first watched this - I got into BTS in 2019, so this was the first award season I watched "live" and just WOW also, fun fact, sung hanbin, who is now a member of ZB1, was a backup dancer in this performance if I got a penny for every time a past BTS backup dancer is a later member of one of my other ult groups, I would have two pennies, which is not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice (the other one is lee know from stray kids btw)

2025-01-03 22:28:25 +0000 UTCThis is one of my absolute favorite performances from them, every time I watch it my heart just tries to get out of my chest. The lights that kept coming down before each solo performance end up creating the Corona Borealis constellation which represents Dionysus' crown which he threw to the sky to prove Ariadne he was a god so she would marry him. Also each member's solo performance represent a different Greek god. Jimin is Artemis, Hobi is Zeus, Jungkook is Poseidon, Jin is either Ares of Athena, RM is Dionysus himself, Yoongi is Hephaestus, and Tae is Apollo
