Also, I've mentioned it before but the actor who plays Artie was in a boyband called NLT. You should definitely check out Time to Let Go (She Says). He's like the JC of the group. So good.

2025-03-20 18:20:34 +0000 UTCI LOVE The Rocky Horror Picture Show and I support the arts and I'm super liberal and think the idea that homosexuality should be taboo in schools is offensive and dumb. That being said, no high school should ever be allowed to do Rocky Horror for their play. haha. I mean...having kids in their underwear on stage should be a no-no on its face. And it's not the queer characters that make the show risqué...the film is about carnal desires--sex and cannibalism and murder...So Will was CRAZY for trying to do the show with minors. You should definitely react to it though. It's genuinely iconic and Tim Curry is brilliant as Frank-n-Furter. Like Mercedes did great but I think if some magazine did a list of 50 most iconic characters of all time, Tim Curry as Frank-n-Furter would definitely be on it. You'll see. :)

2025-02-25 13:49:00 +0000 UTCI am just now getting to watch these reactions (which- BLESS YOU) but you NEEEEED to watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show for sure! It's iconic! Truly ahead of its time as a pinnacle of queer media even in the 70s. Glee did a great job and was also my first introduction to the musical, but I have since seen the original many many times and I love it. I think of both iterations very fondly lol And you finally met Blaine! His cover of Teenage Dream with the rest of the Warblers is another super iconic moment of Glee, they ate down.

2025-02-21 22:55:01 +0000 UTCYou should 100% watch Rocky Horror. I will say it is DEFINITELY better seen on stage. The atmosphere is amazing. The audience heckles, dresses up, etc. So good! Can’t believe you’ve never heard the time warp before! I’m from Scotland so maybe it’s different in the US but that song is EVERYWHERE here. Played at cheesy party nights etc 😂

2025-02-21 21:49:01 +0000 UTCThe performance of Teenage Dream is one of the most iconic of the show and it still gets brought up when people talk about Glee. It went number 1 on the Billboard Charts. And if I remember correctly it was the first Glee song to do that. I love that Kurt has now found a person to talk to who fully understands what he goes through. And for as wacky and problematic and absolutely insane this show can be they can really deliver on the heartfelt, touching moments. It's crazy to think about, because this wasn't that long ago but so much of what Glee did was groundbreaking, especially for queer people in media. It was a cultural phenomenon for a reason. And I would be so here for a Rocky Horror reaction if you ever wanted to do that, but I highly suggest watching even just on your own. I mean it's weird and sometimes confusing, but it's very fun.

2025-02-21 18:50:42 +0000 UTCDarren Criss opened for Pentatonix at the Hollywood Bowl where I was front row center and he sang Teenage Dream and did some of the HP musical. It was amazing!

2025-02-21 05:00:05 +0000 UTCHearing you say “a very potter musical” was crazy because that is one of the funniest/most creative piece of media I’ve ever seen! I recommend everyone who loves Harry Potter to check it out! It’s all on YouTube and it’s a group of collage kids who just banded together and wrote a whole parody musical of Harry Potter! P.s. watching you react to glee is hilarious! lol
