Yooo that carriage scene had me in a chokehold for WEEKS! Has to be my favorite Bridgerton love confessions and episode so far. The yearning, the angst, the buildup to the end?! Plus Pit Bull and Neyo…which shouldn’t work but somehow it does…I will never hear that song the same way again lol truly Chef’s kiss 😘 I’m glad you watched all four since they were part 1 released together. It really is best watched in one go I think.

2025-04-07 23:01:24 +0000 UTCIf i was ranking this show (not counting Queen Charlotte) this would probably be in second place after season 2, but I really love the way they developed the relationship of Pen and Colin in these first few episodes. And I like that Colin realized his feelings and didn't have to be told that he was in love with her which happens a lot in friends to lovers stories and it's not one of my favorite tropes. I also really love the development we get of Penelope's relationship with her mother and now she's finally starting to let her mother know how this treatment has been effecting Penelope all this time. Like I agree with you that Lady Featherington loves her children and wants them to do well in life, but because of her own negative life experience she pushes them in the wrong ways. And of course Violet immediately clocks Colin's feelings. Not only because she's a great mom and very intuitive, but also our boy is not subtle. Once he realizes his feelings, he looks at Pen like he needs to be in her presence to be able to breathe. Very excited to see what you think of the second half of the season.

Its in norway and its complicated to explain) and in our 4-6 year old group we have a few kids who could do with some subtle calming down at times, so we started having classical music on in the background when they get a bit too out of control and it genuinely does help get them to calm down a bit. It is great. But my favourite thing that has come from this is that one of my coworkers will just put on the bridgerton soundtrack instead of usual classical music because "the kids don't know the difference" and yeah they don't. But occasionally I imagine these kids in like 12 years looking through Netflix or whatever super streaming site will exist and them finding a show called Bridgerton and, like I did Gossip girl, they will go wow this old show from when I was like 6 looks fun let's watch it! And suddenly a song will play and they will be like WTF how do I know this???? Where do I know it from??? And a deep seeded memory of them playing with magnets to the sound of the Bridgerton soundtrack will reveal itself and they will be like OH THAT'S WHAT WE WERE LISTENING TO ALL ALONG It brings me joy

I can't remember why but they did change the actress who originally played her from the previous season. I had to look her up when I first watched this season like I was so confused 😂 Colon did glow up 👀
